More about Life Kinetik®
Life Kinetik® continually presents the brain with new and unfamiliar tasks. Familiar routines are deliberately changed, encouraging participants to explore different ways of responding and finding solutions.
Why are the exercises unusual?
Many movements are familiar from everyday life. In Life Kinetik®, however, they are combined with unfamiliar tasks. For example, a particular colour may indicate a movement while another signal has to be noticed at the same time, or an additional task has to be performed.
The rules can change, or several requirements can come together. This means that simply performing a movement is not enough – attention, perception and thinking have to work together.

Perception
Taking in information, recognizing differences and noticing relevant signals.

Cognition
Processing information, making decisions and finding solutions.

Movement
Putting information into action through movement.
What makes Life Kinetik® special?
During the training, participants are asked to pay attention to several pieces of information at the same time and respond to changes. Colours, movements, signals or rules can change and require a new response. This keeps the exercises varied and continuously challenges attention and concentration.
Attention and concentration
Life Kinetik® exercises involve directing attention towards different types of information and connecting them. Tasks, rules or signals may change, requiring attention to be adjusted again and again.
What does Life Kinetik® involve?
Life Kinetik® addresses different skills that can be relevant in everyday situations – including taking in and processing information, working independently and dealing with new and unfamiliar tasks.
What happens in the brain?
Unfamiliar tasks require the brain to process and coordinate information in new ways. Different areas of the brain are involved in these processes, depending on the task. The aim of the training is to continually challenge the brain through changing and unfamiliar combinations of perception, thinking and movement.
